The New Southern Plains Métis Local #160 is a non-profit and was launched in October 2016, and formally incorporated in March of 2017. Our focus is to promote awareness of Métis community in Moose Jaw and surrounding area.
The New Southern Plains Métis Local #160 has a vision that aligns with initiatives that are important to the Métis peoples, including community, wellness, and entrepreneurship. The NSPM#160 have identified four sources of funding, including programming and service agreement revenue, fundraising, grant writing, and tourism related economic develpment initiatives.
